This chart seems confusing at first glance, but it shows that the worst cases of Covid-19 seem to happen in people who are the most deficient in Vitamin D.

They divided 212 cases of confirmed Covid-19 into four categories. Critical and Severe were the categories of people who had the worst cases with the worst complications. They then established three Vitamin D level categories, let's call them "Normal", "Low" and "Really Low". You can see from the above chart, the people who had the worst cases were the most likely to be very low in Vitamin D, and the people who had the mildest cases were the most likely to have adequate Vitamin D blood levels.
